Dear Beautiful Souls,
I’m starting an experimental auction at the symbolic price of $1, and I invite the global community to determine the true value of my artwork.
To make this process as seamless as possible, I will cover all shipping costs worldwide to ensure that the artwork reaches its new owner at no additional cost.
It is an oil painting on high quality linen canvas with a wide frame. The canvas has been primed with clear gesso, allowing the natural texture of the linen to show through. This texture is visible not only on the sides of the frame, but also on the artwork itself, where it adds a beautiful neutral color.
This piece was created with the intention of exploring the theme of dance. Having not danced for a long time, I decided to capture this theme with the intention of starting to dance again. Remarkably, three days after completing the painting, I found a skirt at a recycling station that was exactly like the one I have painted. I took it home with me and I am going back to dancing!
